📍 About the role

We are seeking a Customs Affairs Specialist to support import and export operations by ensuring compliance with customs regulations, trade policies, and customs clearance requirements. This role will work closely with customs brokers, government authorities, and internal stakeholders to facilitate efficient cross-border logistics and minimize operational risks.

🎯 What you'll be doing

• Review and verify customs tariff classifications (HS Codes) to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Apply Thai customs regulations, free trade agreements (FTA), and international trade preferential policies to support business operations.
• Review and validate import and export customs declaration documents.
• Coordinate with customs brokers and logistics service providers to ensure smooth customs clearance processes.
• Monitor import and export shipment status and customs clearance progress.
• Serve as an internal consultant on customs-related business systems and operational processes.
• Support daily customs system operations and troubleshoot issues to minimize business disruptions and compliance risks.
• Communicate and coordinate with Thailand Customs Department, Special Economic Zone (SEZ) authorities, and other government agencies.
• Monitor changes in customs regulations and trade policies and provide recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain customs records, compliance documentation, and operational reports.
• Support customs audits, inspections, and other compliance-related activities.
• Perform other customs and trade compliance tasks assigned by management.

✅ What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree or above in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Customs Administration, or related fields.
• Experience in customs affairs, import-export operations, or trade compliance is preferred.
• Holding customs-related certifications or professional qualifications will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of customs regulations, tariff classifications, and international trade practices.
• Good command of English or Chinese.
• Strong attention to detail and compliance awareness.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and customs-related systems is preferred.
