📍 About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead HR operations and employee lifecycle management across BYD Thailand. This role is responsible for ensuring HR compliance, operational excellence, and effective collaboration between local business units and global headquarters while supporting the company's continued growth.

🎯 What you'll be doing

• Lead the Thailand HR Shared Service Center (SSC) and oversee daily HR operations.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, transfers, and offboarding for local and expatriate employees.
• Ensure HR processes are compliant with Thai labor laws, company policies, and internal standards.
• Conduct HR audits and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and compliance.
• Partner with business leaders to support workforce planning and organizational development initiatives.
• Act as the key liaison between Thailand operations and global headquarters on HR-related matters.
• Monitor labor market trends, regulatory updates, and industry best practices to recommend policy improvements.
• Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, labor authorities, immigration offices, educational institutions, and external partners.
• Lead HR projects and drive continuous improvement initiatives across HR functions.
• Coach, develop, and manage the HR team to achieve departmental objectives.

✅ What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or multinational environments.
• Strong knowledge of Thai Labor Law, social security regulations, and HR compliance requirements.
• Proven leadership experience in managing HR operations and HR teams.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with government agencies and external authorities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Fluent in Thai and English; Mandarin proficiency is a strong advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and multicultural environment.
• Proactive mindset with strong ownership and execution skills.
