About the Role

BYD THAILAND is looking for an Electrical Engineer to support electrical equipment, automation systems, troubleshooting, maintenance, and improvement activities within our manufacturing operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Analyze and resolve electrical and robot faults on production lines.

• Optimize and debug PLC programs to improve equipment performance.

• Handle spare parts requisition and acceptance for electrical equipment within the responsible area.

• Guide and supervise maintenance and preventive maintenance activities.

• Monitor and control maintenance performance indicators.

• Follow up on equipment modification and new project implementation.

• Prepare and maintain equipment operation and maintenance documentation.

• Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure stable and efficient equipment operation.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• Solid knowledge of electrical and electronic engineering fundamentals.

• Understanding of industrial automation and control principles.

• Knowledge of electrical and electronic components and hardware.

• Experience with electrical system design, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and PLC debugging.

• Proficient in computer operations and technical documentation.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Able to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
