About the Role

BYD THAILAND is looking for an IE Engineer (Vehicle Division) to drive Lean Manufacturing, production system improvement, productivity, manpower planning, and operational efficiency across our manufacturing operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Plan, implement, inspect, summarize, and support certification of Lean Manufacturing initiatives.

• Monitor and improve HPV, OEE, and other production efficiency indicators.

• Prepare manpower requirements, calculate capacity, and manage actual manpower utilization.

• Analyze waste and production losses and drive improvement activities.

• Support BVPS training, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.

• Conduct process and productivity analysis to identify improvement opportunities.

• Support Lean Manufacturing and IE initiatives across production areas.

• Prepare relevant reports and follow up on improvement actions.

• Coordinate with production and cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and cost performance.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

• 3–7 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing, Production Systems, or Industrial Engineering.

• Strong knowledge of Lean and IE tools, including VSM, Standard Work, OEE, Line Balancing, Kaizen, and Problem Solving.

• Experience in factory or organization-level Lean/IE implementation.

• Experience controlling and improving productivity, efficiency, and cost KPIs.

• Strong experience in manpower planning, capacity calculation, and manpower control.

• Experience in training, audit, and certification is preferred.

• Good command of English for business communication.

• Chinese language skills are an advantage.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
