📍 About the role

We are seeking a Paint Production Manager to manage paint process operations, improve product quality, and support continuous improvement activities within the paint shop.

🎯 What you'll be doing

• Develop, optimize, and maintain paint process parameters.
• Analyze paint defects and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support new model launches, process trials, and commissioning activities.
• Prepare and update process documentation and work instructions.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Equipment teams.
• Drive cost reduction and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Monitor paint quality performance and process stability.
• Lead troubleshooting activities related to paint processes.
• Support employee development and technical training activities.

✅ What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of automotive paint shop experience.
• Strong understanding of pretreatment, E-coat, primer, basecoat, and clearcoat processes.
• Experience analyzing paint defects and quality improvement activities.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• English communication skills required; Chinese is an advantage.
