📍 About the role

We are seeking a Process Engineer to support lithium battery production by optimizing manufacturing processes, resolving process abnormalities, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role plays a key part in enhancing production yield, quality performance, and operational efficiency while supporting new product introductions and localization projects.

🎯 What you'll be doing

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize manufacturing processes across lithium battery production stages, including tableting, slitting, laser cleaning, liquid injection, formation, sealing, OCV, X-ray inspection, grading, and material preparation.
• Improve process capability, production yield, and operational efficiency through process optimization initiatives.
• Conduct pilot run evaluations and feasibility assessments for new projects and product introductions.
• Investigate process abnormalities, implement corrective actions, and prepare evaluation reports.
• Support customer audits, product certifications, and manufacturing-related complaint investigations.
• Design, improve, and maintain tooling, jigs, fixtures, and process equipment.
• Support localization projects and monitor material trial performance in Thailand.
• Develop and maintain FMEA, SOPs, Control Plans, and other process documentation.
• Apply Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies to improve process stability and product quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing excellence initiatives.

✅ What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related fields.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
• Experience in lithium battery manufacturing is preferred.
• Proficient in CAD, SolidWorks/ProE, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiar with FMEA, SOP, Control Plans, and process control methodologies.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and process improvement principles.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Chinese or English communication skills are preferred.
