📍 About the role

We are looking for an Equipment Engineer to develop, improve, and maintain manufacturing equipment to support efficient production operations. You will be responsible for equipment design, automation projects, machine installation, commissioning, and preventive maintenance while driving continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

🎯 What you'll be doing

• Conduct feasibility studies and define technical requirements for equipment development and improvement projects.

• Prepare preliminary designs, project budgets, and technical agreements, and coordinate design review meetings with stakeholders.

• Develop detailed equipment designs, technical documents, drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM).

• Manage the acceptance of new equipment, including technical documentation, drawings, manuals, and spare parts.

• Oversee machine installation, commissioning, and production trials to ensure successful mass production.

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans, repair standards, and equipment improvement initiatives.

• Troubleshoot equipment issues and support production teams in resolving technical problems.

• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

✅ What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

• Good communication skills in English; Chinese language skills are an advantage.

• Experience in PLC programming with at least two platforms (e.g., Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, or Keyence).

• Familiar with industrial robots such as KUKA, Panasonic, ABB, Fanuc, Estun, or equivalent.

• Knowledge of equipment design, automation systems, and machine commissioning.

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• High sense of responsibility and ability to work effectively under pressure.

• Experience in automotive or manufacturing industries is preferred.
