📍 About the role

We are looking for a Fire Protection & Safety Engineer to oversee fire safety, fire protection systems, emergency preparedness, and industrial safety across the manufacturing site. You will ensure compliance with applicable regulations, strengthen fire prevention measures, and support a safe working environment through risk management, training, inspection, and continuous improvement.

🎯 What you'll be doing

• Manage and oversee fire safety programs, policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance across the factory.

• Supervise fire protection and firefighting systems, equipment, emergency exits, signage, and related facilities.

• Develop and maintain fire emergency and evacuation plans, conduct drills, and support emergency response activities.

• Identify and control fire risks, manage Hot Work Permits, and ensure appropriate fire prevention measures are implemented.

• Conduct fire safety training, fire inspections, risk assessments, and corrective actions.

• Coordinate with internal departments, contractors, government authorities, and emergency response teams on fire safety and related matters.

• Monitor fire safety performance, prepare reports, investigate incidents, and recommend preventive and corrective actions.

• Maintain safety documentation, regulatory submissions, registrations, permits, and compliance records.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to fire prevention, protection, and emergency management.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

✅ What you'll need

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Occupational Health and Safety, Safety Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related field.

• At least 3 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, with relevant experience in fire protection and firefighting.

• Experience as a Safety Engineer or above is preferred; EHS supervisory or management experience is an advantage.

• Professional Safety Officer (P.S.O.) certification or equivalent.

• Strong knowledge of Thai laws and regulations related to occupational safety, industrial safety, fire prevention and protection, and emergency management.

• Experience in safety documentation, regulatory submissions, registrations, permits, and compliance reporting.

• Strong knowledge of fire protection systems, emergency response, fire risk assessment, and Hot Work control.

• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Able to work under pressure and support emergency situations or work overtime when required.

• Basic Chinese or English communication skills are an advantage.
