📍 About the role

We are looking for an Assembly Process Engineer to improve production efficiency and assembly line performance. You will conduct process analysis, support new model introduction, resolve production issues, and drive improvement projects to enhance productivity, quality, and manufacturing performance.

🎯 What you'll be doing

• Support production efficiency improvement initiatives and ensure production plans and targets are achieved.

• Conduct time and motion studies to identify process waste, optimize manpower allocation, and improve assembly line efficiency.

• Analyze customer complaints and production quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to reduce IQS-related issues.

• Support new model trial builds, process improvements, and preparation and maintenance of process documentation.

• Identify and resolve production bottlenecks during new model introduction and mass production.

• Develop and implement process improvements based on quality issues and production performance.

• Lead and complete assigned improvement projects, monitor progress, and prepare reports for management.

• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Equipment, and other relevant departments to resolve process-related issues.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

✅ What you'll need

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in Process Engineering, preferably in automotive assembly manufacturing.

• Experience in production efficiency improvement, line balancing, and time and motion studies.

• Knowledge of new model introduction, trial builds, and mass production support.

• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.

• Experience in process improvement and quality improvement projects.

• Good communication, coordination, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Good command of English. Chinese communication skills are an advantage.
