About the Role

We are seeking an MES Engineer to support the operation, maintenance, optimization, and integration of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) within our battery manufacturing operations. This role will work closely with production, IT, automation, and development teams to improve system performance, data flow, and smart manufacturing applications.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of the MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and monitor system performance and stability.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve MES system issues and operational abnormalities in a timely manner.

• Provide user training and guidance and develop training materials and documentation.

• Collaborate with developers, testers, and relevant teams to troubleshoot system issues and optimize MES functions based on production requirements.

• Handle data abnormalities and improve system efficiency, functionality, and user experience.

• Develop reports, dashboards, and other visualization tools based on production requirements.

• Participate in the planning and implementation of information technology projects and new system functions.

• Support the implementation of smart manufacturing and digital manufacturing technologies in battery production.

• Troubleshoot IT hardware issues within the factory and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure stable production operations.

• Diagnose basic factory network abnormalities and coordinate with the Information Center for resolution.

• Manage the integration of MES with other production systems to improve data flow and business processes.

• Support continuous improvement and digitalization initiatives within manufacturing operations.

• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of relevant work experience, preferably with experience in MES systems within the manufacturing industry.

• Good understanding of MES principles, manufacturing processes, and production system operations.

• Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and other industrial automation or control systems.

• Proficient in SQL and database management, with the ability to perform basic data analysis.

• Familiarity with system integration, data flow, and manufacturing information systems.

• Understanding of basic network concepts and ability to perform basic network troubleshooting.

• Experience with dashboards, reports, or data visualization tools is an advantage.

• Good English reading skills with the ability to understand technical documentation.

• Strong learning, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work with multiple departments.

• Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively under pressure.
