About the Role

BYD THAILAND is looking for an HR & Employee Relations Specialist - Chinese Speaking to support employee relations, welfare, employment contracts, labor relations, and HR operations. This role will work closely with Chinese and Thai management, employees, internal departments, and external organizations to ensure smooth HR operations and effective employee communication.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage and coordinate employment contract renewal, including document review, approval follow-up, signing, and maintaining contract databases and related reports.

• Coordinate employee welfare programs, including group insurance, welfare policies, and changes to employee benefits.

• Communicate welfare-related information to employees and support the resolution of employee welfare issues.

• Plan and coordinate the annual employee health check-up program with hospitals and relevant parties, including follow-up on results and related actions.

• Handle Employee Relations (ER) activities, including receiving, investigating, and following up on employee complaints and feedback.

• Coordinate with relevant departments to develop solutions for employee relations issues and support labor relations activities in compliance with company policies and Thai labor laws.

• Support HR/ER communication between Chinese and Thai managers and employees, including Chinese-Thai interpretation and document translation.

• Collect, organize, verify, and maintain HR/ER-related documents, data, and reports.

• Coordinate with internal and external organizations to support HR and employee relations activities.

• Support employee welfare committees, employee representatives, disciplinary investigations, and labor-related coordination where required.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources, Political Science, Law, Business Administration, Chinese Language, or a related field.

• Experience in Employee Relations (ER), Labor Relations, HR Operations, or related areas.

• Experience in labor relations management is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of Thai labor laws and regulations and willingness to continuously develop knowledge in relevant regulations and company policies.

• Strong skills in employee complaint handling, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.

• Good communication and coordination skills with management, supervisors, employees, and external organizations.

• Good command of Chinese and Thai, both spoken and written, with the ability to provide HR/ER interpretation and translation.

• Strong service mindset and interpersonal skills.

• Detail-oriented and able to maintain strict confidentiality of employee information and company data.

• Good data organization, analysis, and reporting skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

• Experience with Employee Welfare Committees, employee representatives, disciplinary investigations, or coordination with the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare is an advantage.
