About the Role

BYD THAILAND is seeking a Logistics Assistant (Vehicle Division) to join our team in Nikhom Phatthana, Rayong. In this role, you will supervise daily material feeding operations, manage logistics personnel, monitor line-side material availability, and coordinate closely with production and warehouse teams to ensure seamless material supply across vehicle assembly lines.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supervise daily material feeding operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to production lines.

• Manage logistics feeding operators, including manpower allocation, work assignments, and daily performance monitoring.

• Monitor line-side material availability and promptly resolve material shortages, incorrect deliveries, and other logistics issues.

• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to ensure continuous material supply and prevent production line interruptions.

• Optimize material feeding routes, delivery frequency, and manpower utilization to improve operational efficiency.

• Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, 5S standards, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

• Monitor logistics KPIs, including on-time delivery, material accuracy, and team productivity.

• Support employee training, performance improvement, and continuous improvement of material feeding operations.

What You’ll Need

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in production logistics, material feeding, or internal logistics within the automotive manufacturing industry.

• Experience in supervising logistics operators, managing manpower, and coordinating daily material feeding operations.

• Familiarity with line-side material supply, material handling, inventory control, and production logistics processes.

• Knowledge of FIFO, JIT, 5S, and Lean Logistics principles.

• Experience with WMS, ERP, or SAP systems is an advantage.

• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and on-site management skills.
