About the Role

BYD THAILAND is seeking a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Quality team at WHA Rayong 36 Industrial Estate, Rayong. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting supplier audits across Thailand and neighboring countries, training internal group auditors, managing audit non-conformity reporting, verifying corrective action closures, and supporting external and customer factory audits to ensure supply chain quality excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Conduct introduction audits for new suppliers in Thailand and neighboring countries, annual audits for system-qualified suppliers, and group-level audits (BQS Star, BTS, Lean, Information Security, etc.).

• Organize and deliver training programs for internal group auditors.

• Handle audit process abnormalities, issuing and summarizing non-conformity reports.

• Prepare, countersign, and upload audit reports into the system, and manage disputes or appeals between suppliers and internal divisions.

• Verify audit non-conformance items and follow up on corrective action plans to ensure complete closure.

• Organize and archive audit data, monitor local regulatory updates, and ensure compliance with statutory and company standards.

• Assist the Overseas Quality Department with quality abnormalities and customer complaints, cooperating with customers and third-party inspectors during factory audits.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Technology, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of experience in Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) or Quality Systems Auditing within the manufacturing industry.

• Solid understanding of quality management systems, Lean tools, and Information Security standards.

• Certified Auditor status (ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 / VDA 6.3) is a strong advantage.

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for supplier audits.

• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Fluent in English (listening, speaking, reading, writing); proficiency in Chinese is preferred.
